Brent crude trading at $77.05/bbl

Crude oil futures on Wednesday declined 0.92 per cent to Rs5,948 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for January delivery fell Rs45 or 0.92 per cent to Rs5,948 per barrel with a business volume of 4,874 lots. Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 1.75 per cent lower at $71.13 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 1.58 per cent down at $77.05 per barrel in New York.
